Wing Tai partners Pathlight School to turn River Green’s hoardings into vibrant student art showcase
Property developer Wing Tai Asia revealed on April 15 that it has actually works with Pathlight School on a town campaign at its upcoming housing property development, River Green. The 525-unit plan at River Valley Green in top District 9, is projected to be started sometime in 2H2025.
It notes Pathlight’s first relationship with a realty builder to showcase its pupils’ artwork on this type of a platform and scale.
The contest’s concept will centre on River Green’s environments– including the Singapore River, the River Valley area, and the neighbourhood’s architectural culture. It was introduced in very early April, accompanying Autism Awareness Month. Winning and picked entries will be featured on River Green’s 200m hoarding around Kim Seng Linear Park for the following three years.
” While hoardings typically act as safety and sound boundaries, we are excited to transform them right into a vivid canvas featuring artworks influenced by the River Valley and Singapore River precincts,” he adds. “This campaign offers a distinct chance to engage with the local area and commemorate the creative thinking and skill of budding young artists from Pathlight Academy.”
Wing Tai secured the government land sales (GLS) site at River Valley Green (Parcel A) in June last year with a quote of only under $464 million, or $1,325 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr).
” Art has regularly been a defining element of Wing Tai’s developments– connecting and enhancing the neighborhood while improving the environment,” states Edmund Cheng, deputy chairman of Wing Tai Holdings.
According to Linda Kho, senior director of Pathlight School, “Art is a powerful kind of self-expression that permits our students to exchange their unique perspectives.” She adds that the collaboration with Wing Tai showcases the students’ talents, constructs their confidence, and encourages them to further develop their imaginative drives.
The alliance with Pathlight School is going to take the style of an art competition for its secondary and vocational track pupils. The campaign aspires to change the hoardings all over the River Green construction site right into “a lively, spreading area art canvas, showcasing the skill and creativity of Pathlight School students,” Wing Tai said in a news release.
