Final two pandemic-delayed BTO projects completed: HDB
According to HDB, the finalization of Punggol Point Cove (Phase 2) notes the completion of all flats in the Punggol Point District. This includes Punggol Point Cove (Stage 1), Punggol Point Woods and Punggol Point Crown BTO ventures, that were finished in 2024.
The remaining ventures had waiting times of approximately five years. On the whole, over 18,000 flats were carried out in 2024, claims HDB.
Situated along New Punggol Roadway, Punggol Point Cove (Phase 2) consists of 1,179 units of two-room flexi, 3-, 4- and five-room flats throughout six home blocks. Following pandemic problems, the project’s last block was finished one year from its initial Probable Completion Date (PCD) earlier this month.
Minister for National Development Desmond Lee has recently released the finish of the final two pandemic-delayed projects from HDB, according to a Jan 20 launch.
The 22 house projects included two Shorter Waiting Time (SWT) projects, which were finished in just a waiting period of less than 3 years. The SWT work, Parc Glen at Tengah and Grove Spring at Yishun, consisted of an overall of 1,995 apartments.
In 2024, HDB completed a total of 22 housing properties, 17 of which were put off by the pandemic. With the exception of one that was delayed as a result of non-pandemic causes, the standing 4 house projects were finished on time.
At the moment, 110 HDB home projects are under construction, up from 95 a year ago due to the increase in BTO supply in recent years. HDB says it is on track to finish around 17,000 condos across 27 plans in 2025.
The final block, that was put off by six months from its original PCD, was accomplished in mid-January.
HDB is assumed to inform the waiting flat owners of their key collection date soon, following the completion of the last blocks within both ventures this month.
Flat owners of Punggol Point Cove (Phase 2) have actually been getting the keys to their brand-new house ever since November 2024, whilst key collection for Kempas Residence began in mid-January this year.
As at Jan 15, 37 households or about 7% of 555 reserved units have collected their keys.
As at Jan 15, 657 homes or 59% of 1,109 reserved units have gathered their keys.
Both Build-to-Order (BTO) jobs, Punggol Point Cove (Stage 2) and Kempas Residences, observe the completion of HDB’s pandemic-delayed housing ventures. As a whole, the 92 projects have actually supplied over 75,800 brand-new apartments to Singaporeans over the last 5 years.
Positioned between Serangoon Road, Lavender Road and Boon Kheng Road, Kempas Residences BTO project has 583 units of two-room flexi, three-, four-room apartments throughout four residential blocks.
